With a
surprise I once come upon a fact that there are couples who don’t celebrate
wedding anniversaries. Wedding anniversary is one of the dates with special
wedding celebration where only the two of us belong – a man and a woman.
Te vēl ir fotosesijas sākums un Jānis mūs bar, lai beidzam smieties. Taču es šajā brīdī uzzināju, ka vīram acis smejoties pie jūras paliek zaļas kā kaķim un ar lāsītēm.
This is the
beginning of the photo shoot when Jānis got a bit angry because we couldn’t
stop laughing. At that moment I got to know that my husband’s eyes become green
and with tiny drops – as a cat’s eyes – when he laughs.

I will
share my ideas with you in the photo blog ‘Wedding anniversary’. I hope they

a romantic night.
Man ir īpašas attiecības ar jūru, bet kāzu dienā nesanāca līdz tai aizbraukt. Tā radās ideja par foto sesiju kāzu jubilejā. Pēdējos 10 gadus esmu fotografējusies ļoti maz, savukārt vīrs nav īpašā sajūsmā par fotografēšanos – tas radīja nelielu stresiņu vai šī ideja vispār ir realizējama. Paldies fotogrāfam Jānim Pešikam, sākums ar mums nebija viegls... mūsu fotosesijas atslēga: „mīļum šī taču ir mūsu diena, dzeram pie jūras šampi un lai jau Jānis fotografē...” pēc brīža tālumā atskan balss: „Ir!, tagad IR!”.
I have a
relationship with the sea but I didn’t have a chance to go there on my wedding
day. By knowing this, an idea of a photo shoot on my wedding anniversary was
born. I have been photographed very little in the last 10 years; moreover, my
husband is not a fan of being photographed at all – those facts created a
little stress and doubt whether this idea is realistic at all. Thanks to the
photographer Jānis Pešiks because at the beginning it was very challenging. The
key to our photo shoot: ‘Honey, this is our day, isn’t it? Let’s just drink
champagne on the beach and let Jānis take the photos...’ and after a while we
heard a voice: ‘Yes! I’ve got it! YES!’
Daži ieteikumu, kā pašiem plānot foto sesiju:
v Izvēlieties fotogrāfu (atbilstoši tam, kādu rezultātu vēlaties un kāds ir budžets ~Ls50-Ls200).
v Apdomājiet, ko vēlaties redzēt gala rezultātā.
v Izvēlieties vietu, piemēram, pilī varat labos laika apstākļos fotografēties ārā, sliktos - greznās telpās. (Piemēram Mālpils muižā par telpu izmantošanu foto sesijai ir jāmaksā Ls 30.00).
v Saskaņojiet tērpu un make-up ar fotogrāfu.
v Saskaņojiet tērpu un foto sesijas vietu ar frizieri un vizāžisti (iesaku pirms tam izmēģināt). (Vakara frizūra ~Ls15-25, make-up ~Ls15. Ir fotogrāfi, kuriem ir savs frizieris un make-up, par zemākiem honorāriem.)
v Padomājiet par aksesuāriem, tie atvieglos fotografēšanos (piemēram: šūpoles, šampanietis, burbuļu pūšamie. Vai arī Jums personiskas lietas, piemēram, ja mākat spēlēt ģitāru, tad ģitāra, ja brīvdienās izbraucat ar riteņiem, tad noskaidrojiet, kur tuvumā paredzētajai vietai var iznomāt riteņus (Mālpils muižā var iznomāt retro riteņus un laivu, Mežotnes pilī saorganizēt zirgu pajūgu).
v Saskaņojiet labāko dienas laiku foto sesijai ar fotogrāfu (piemēram, pie jūras agrs rīts, vai 3-4h pirms saulrieta).
v Izrunājiet ar fotogrāfu, cik ilga (vismaz aptuveni) plānojas foto sesija (ieteiktu 3-6h).
A few
advices to plan a photo shoot by yourselves:
v Choose a
photographer (accordingly to what you would like to see and what your budget is
-> ~50-200 Ls);
v Think about
what you would like to see as the final result;
v Choose a
site, for example, if the weather is good, you can go and take pictures
outdoors, if not – you can use a luxurious setting indoors (e.g., Mālpils manor
offers their premises for photo shoots for 30.00 Ls);
v Match the
outfits and make-up with the photographer;
v Match the
outfits and the site of the shoot with a hairstylist and make-up artist (I
recommend having a try-out before). (Evening’s hairstyle ~15-25 Ls, make-up
~15Ls. Some photographers have their own hairstylist and make-up artist and
that costs less) ;
v Think about
accessories, they will make posing easier (for example, swings, champagne, and
bubble blowers). Maybe you have some personal things like a guitar, bikes, a
boat... Something that is characteristic to you as a couple (Mālpils manor
offers retro bikes and a boat, Mežotnes manor offers a horse cart) ;
v Decide on
the best time of the day for the photo shoot with the photographer (for
example, if it is planned on the beach, then early morning or 3-4 hours before
the sunrise would be sufficient) ;
v Discuss the
timing with the photographer. I would recommend 3-6 hours.
