Ik pa laikam kāds brīnās – tu strādā? ziemā arī precas?

Ziema ir burvīgs, balts un skaists gadalaiks kāzām, kā arī bieži finansiāli izdevīgāk ir svinēt kāzas „nesezonā”. Te gan jāpiebilst, ka ņemot vērā uzņēmumu rīkotās jaungada balles decembris ir visīstākā „sezona”. Tomēr, pagājušajā gadā pilij atlaide vien bija pāris tūkstoši, tāpēc, ka pašos Ziemassvētkos reti kāds nomā telpas.

From time to time someone still feels surprised: ‘Are you working? Do people really get married in winter?’
Winter is a gorgeous, white and beautiful season for wedding, and, to be honest, it usually is more favourable financially to celebrate the wedding off-season. Nevertheless, I have to say that December is on-season because of the New Year’s parties. However, last year one of the palaces had a discount of a few thousands and that’s because there is rarely a person wishing to have premises on lease at that time.

• Mūzika.   Laulību ceremonijā acapella vai saksofons radīs svinīgu svētku noskaņu. Kamēr viesi gaida jauno pāri ziemas klasiskajās noskaņās ievadīs pianists. Savukārt svinību daļā „Uzsniga sniedziņš balts”, “Winter Wonderland” labi skanēs gan DJ, gan dzīvās mūzikas grupas izpildījumā. 
• Sagaidot viesus pie muižas sarīko Ziemassvētku tirdziņu, kur viss ir apmaiņā pret lapiņām ar novēlējumiem jaunajam pārim. Pasniedziet karstu šokolādi vai karstvīnu un piparkūkas ar Jūsu iniciāļiem. 
•  Savukārt viesi Jūs sagaida apberot ar maigām rožlapiņām piebraucot zirgu pajūgā! 
• Music. A cappella or saxophone music will create a festive atmosphere. While the guests are waiting for the newlyweds, the pianist plays the piano to help everyone feel the classic winter atmosphere. What is more, in the celebrations part ‘Uzsniga sniedziņš balts’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’ will sound good both in the performance of a DJ or a live-music band.
• When greeting guests in front of the manor house, organize a Christmas market where everything has to be changed for sheets of paper with wishes and congratulations for the newlyweds. Serve hot chocolate or mulled wine and gingerbreads with your initials.
  And vice versa – the guests welcome you by sprinkling you with soft rose petals when you arrive in a horse cart!

• Vakariņās pasniedz ēdienu, kurš ir tradicionāls ziemas ēdiens jūsu ģimenei, tas dos īpašu noskaņu kāzu virtuvei. 
• Kāzu torte, lai ir tikpat balta, kā jūsu kāzas. Tā var būt gan tradicionālā kāzu torte vairākos stāvos, vai arī pēdējos gados modē nākusī „kūciņtorte”. Kāzu torti var dekorēt arī ar dabīgajiem ziediem jūsu kāzu krāsās.

• Serve food that is a traditional winter dish for your family which will create a special atmosphere at the dinner.
• May the wedding cake be as white as your wedding! It can be the traditional wedding gateau with multiple levels, or the now fashionable wedding cupcakes. The cake can be decorated with natural flowers in your wedding colours.

• Colours in winter wedding create a bright atmosphere (however, everything relies on the decorator – one colour can be adjusted to many different personalities).
